BIO

I am a physical oceanographer who wants to understand the ocean at a basin-scale and shorter using various observations and numerical models. I am interested in data assimilation and sensitivity studies using the adjoint model. Recently I've been working in acoustics (data processing, analysis, forward and inverse problems). Acoustics is a fascinating subject and a great way to do remote sensing underwater. There is always a scarcity of underwater information to validate and constrain numerical models, and acoustics offer great possibilities to reduce that scarcity.
