MAS-MBC recruits students for 2018-2019

Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego formally announces that January 11, 2018 is the application deadline for the Master of Advanced Studies Program in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation (MAS MBC). This 12-month intensive master’s program is geared toward early to mid-career professionals interested in marine conservation careers.

The MAS MBC program equips students with the knowledge and skills they need to be effective and enduring leaders in the field of marine conservation. Coursework focuses on marine and climate science, ecology, communications, law and policy, economics, and environmental justice. Students also get practical training in scientific survey design and analysis, communication tools (including filmmaking), negotiation, facilitation, and many other tangible skills.

The MAS MBC program will begin July 5, 2018. For more information on the program and to access an online application, please visit: https://scripps.ucsd.edu/masters/mas/mbc.
