Caltech geochemist Jess Adkins will present a free public lecture at Scripps Oceanography Nov. 7 as part of the Tsaihwa “James” Chow Lecture Series.
The lecture, titled "Coupling the Carbon and Sulfur Cycles via Their Inputs to the Modern and Cenozoic Oceans,” is intended for specialists in geosciences.
It takes place in Sumner Auditorium place at 1:30 p.m. and will be followed by light snacks.
The lecture series is named for Dr. Tsaihwa J. Chow, a geochemist with a long association with Scripps who died in 2006.
