In searching for solutions to problems facing our blue planet, it is vital that communication techniques be explored, utilized, and valued. From podcasting, to filmmaking, to social media use, and more Allison is constantly striving to speak out for the ocean in the most effective ways possible. In turn, inspiring others with the notion that each and every single individual can use their voice to create positive change for the health of this planet we all call home.

Allison Randolph is an Ocean Spokesperson. Formally trained in Marine Biology, Allison utilizes her knowledge of ocean science in addition to her skills in communications to educate and inspire people around the world to care for our blue planet. Utilizing a wide range of digital media tools, including her Ocean Allison Podcast show, her dynamic social media channels, and her award-winning films, Allison strives to constantly reach and grow her audience in new and different ways. Having previously worked as an educator at Birch Aquarium at Scripps, she uses skills learned there to also focus on providing in-person ocean education through public speaking engagements, K-12 classroom visits, and experiences in the field. Born and raised in South Florida, practically underwater, Allison draws on her life-long love for the ocean each day as she works to speak out for what is so vital to the health of our planet. While she currently resides in Southern California, her ocean advocacy work has taken her to the far corners of the world’s ocean; from conducting coral reef research in Indonesia, to documenting deep sea exploration in Antarctica, to participating in conservation summits in Monaco and beyond. Additionally, Ocean Allison recently became an official partner with Dr. Sylvia Earle’s Mission Blue.
