Inside Innovation is a presentation series featuring the latest innovative technologies developed by UC San Diego researchers. Prof. Zhang’s research group in the Nanomaterials and Nanomedicine Laboratory aims to create cutting-edge biomimetic nanotechnologies and exploit them to study and solve complex biological problems that are associated with human diseases. One major research goal is to overcome the various therapeutic barriers in the treatment of cancer and antibiotic-resistant bacterial infection. Overall, the group seeks to understand the fundamental sciences at the interface of nanomedicine and biology. Registration is free.
