TITLE:          Environmental Justice for Coastal Populations: Philosophy, Science, and Positive Change

 
SEMINAR ABSTRACT:
 
This presentation discusses the ethical imperative for environmental scientists to consider global issues; alternative paradigms for community-engaged research; and examples of academic-community partnerships to better understand and address environmental challenges relevant to Alaska Native, Miami, and Bangladeshi coastal populations.
