What Is the TriNet Challenge?
Do you have an environmentally focused innovative idea or technology that you think might have commercial potential? The TriNet Challenge promotes innovation and entrepreneurship within Scripps, Rady School of Management and Jacobs School of Engineering. The goal of the Challenge is to promote innovation and commercialization within the three schools by providing entrepreneurially-minded scientists with the opportunity to:
1. Advance the commercialization plan of their unique idea or technology;
2. Gain exposure to investors, licensing partners and entrepreneurs; and
3. Identify potential funding sources, including cash prizes for the finalists.
Applications for the TriNet Challenge are due Wednesday, October 21.
Anyone with a current Scripps Oceanography affiliation may apply - faculty, students or staff. The application is a short Statement of Interest (1-2 pages). If you'd like any assistance with your Statement of Interest, we can help - contact Richard Schneeberger (rschneeberger@
