FREE PUBLIC LECTURE

BRAVE GENIUS: A Scientist’s Journey from the French Resistance to the Nobel Prize

Prof. Sean Carroll, acclaimed biologist and author, and recipient of the ninth Richard H. and Glenda G. Rosenblatt Lecture in Evolutionary Biology, will chronicle the adventures of Jacques Monod, a co-founder of molecular biology, from the dark
years of the German occupation of Paris to the heights of the Nobel Prize, his friendship with the great writer Albert Camus, and his emergence as a public figure and leading voice of science.

Join us for a memorial service celebrating the life of Dr. Richard Rosenblatt at 1 p.m. (prior to the lecture)
