PhD student Angelica Rodriguez participated in the Scripps Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program as an undergraduate. This spurred her excitement about research and oceanography and led her to pursue a PhD at Scripps. Her SURF experience is highlighted in the UCSD news.
Welcome to my lab website!
I am a coastal physical oceanographer specializing in estuarine and coastal processes with an interest in interdisciplinary projects that address how physics impacts important biological and chemical processes in the coastal environment. I am an assistant professor at Scripps Institution of Oceanography where I conduct research, teach, and hope to disseminate my research through public outreach and applications to policy.
