San Diego General SAFRN Meetings Resumed!

San Diego General SAFRN Meetings Resumed!

After a bit of a fieldwork-induced hiatus, SAFRN’s monthly meetings are back!

We had our first meeting of 2013 today, and it was great to see some new faces.  In addition to providing some background about the group, I also ran through the premise for my upcoming presentation at the Association of American Geographers, “Local-level governance of small-scale fisheries: Variations on a theme across four sites.”

These meetings are a great chance to get to know other researchers and to become familiar with ongoing research.  We are open to different meeting formats, including practice presentations, discussion groups, and mini-workshops.  Let us know what you’d find most interesting/helpful!
