Student SIO - Masters
I am a Master's student at UC San Diego Scripps Institution of Oceanography with an interest in thermochronology, structural geology, and tectonics. My research focuses on using apatite (U-Th)/He thermochronology and zircon and apatite U-Pb geochronology to constrain the timing of cooling and exhumation along the San Jacinto and Elsinore faults in Southern California. My project aims to reconstruct the long-term tectonic and thermal history along these fault zones.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
- Low temperature thermochronology
- Tectonic evolution of SW North America and Southern California
- Geochronology
- Structural geology
