Master of Advanced Studies (MAS)

The one-year MAS degree is intended for professionals who wish to develop an interdisciplinary career at the interface between ocean sciences and public policy.

This challenging self-funded program provides rigorous graduate-level curriculum and culminates with the completion of a capstone independent research project.

Master of Science (MS)

Scripps offers a research-based Master of Science degree by thesis for a small number of qualified students.  Prospective students should identify a thesis advisor before applying to the program.
