Student Spaces

Several classroom spaces on the Scripps campus are available for students to reserve for meetings or to use as study space.  These spaces are:

  • Nierenberg Hall room 101
  • Ritter Hall room 229
  • Spiess Hall room 330
  • Vaughan Hall room 100
  • Vaughan Hall room 300
  • Vaughan Hall room 328
  • Vaughan Hall room 348

These spaces can be reserved by contacting Room Reservations in the Scripps Grad Office at (or by calling Olivia Padilla at x49967 or 858-534-9967).  All of the rooms in Vaughan Hall in the above list are open and unlocked during normal business hours (8:00 am - 4:30 pm) all other spaces require a key to enter.  You may use the calendar below to check their availability and use them as study spaces if they are not booked.



Color coding:

  • ‚ÄčThe Old Scripps Library is gray
  • Vaughan Hall 328 is brown
  • Vaughan Hall 348 is green
  • Surfside is purple


The Revelle Family Student Center (Surfside)

Scripps graduate students may use the Surfside student lounge for small events, meetings, or for study space.  Depending on the size of the event, there may be a cost associated with the use of the space.
