Greg Johnson, President of RBR

RBR’s sensor technology enables advancements in the oceanographic measurement capabilities of autonomous platforms and vehicles. High accuracy, low power, and customized hardware configurations have allowed ocean scientists and system integrators to create new systems, measure longer, and get access to real-time data.

This technical presentation will describe RBR’s latest innovations in CTD and data collection technology for autonomous platforms. We will also highlight collaborative projects with oceanographers and engineers at Scripps and other institutions. There will be time allocated for questions and dialogue with representatives from RBR.

Products to be featured in the presentation include:
 Rugged and low power RBRargo CTD for Argo and other autonomous floats
 Quiet and modular RBRlegato CTD for ocean gliders
 Multi-parameter RBRconcerto and RBRmaestro CTDs integrated on the DMO Wirewalker with real-time telemetry and data hosting services
