This year’s event will feature 18 presentations. A broad range of topics will be covered, including local adaptation efforts in the context of sea level rise, the impacts of extreme events on biodiversity and marine biota, equity issues that potentially act as barriers to broader adoption of mitigation, resilience and adaptation solutions, the role of nature based solutions in state and local future climate and environmental policy agendas, and a discussion of the challenges and opportunities facing investors and entrepreneurs as the private sector and other actors seek to effectively develop and market breakthrough technology to address the climate crisis [View Full Agenda Here].
