About the Speaker

Helder Sebastiao

Helder Sebastiao provides consulting and training in lean launch / lean startup, design thinking, and blue ocean strategy principles, and mentors startup founders in successfully applying these principles. He also serves as an Instructor in the National Science Foundation's I-Corps program, which teaches the customer discovery process to scientists and inventors to help them assess the commercial potential of their discoveries. Helder has mentored hundreds of student entrepreneurs over the years in various aspects of venture development, with a particular emphasis on customer discovery, business development, and effectively pitching to prospective startup team members, investors, and customers.
