As we try and answer more questions about our oceans, more products are being made available to help us answer those questions. But, how do we keep track of all available products? How do we spend less time in the logistics and electrical schemas of those products? Moreover, once learned, how do we document our knowledge and pass it to the next generation of scientists?

Anekonnect was built with one goal in mind. Bring advanced web technologies to the subsea community, and simplify the access to all electrical components. Millions of products can be searched for in a matter of seconds at Amazon.com and other e-commerce sites. But that is not feasible for products in our Subsea community today as all catalogs are in PDF formata  In 2001, there were desktop electronics design applications that would cost upwards of $7,000 per license. After 2011, web-based Electronics Design Applications (EDA’s) like EasyEDA, KiCAD, OrCAD, Schematics.com & Upverter have transformed the industry. Now, anyone can design circuits online with millions of parts cataloged with subscriptions that start as low as $12/month.

Can we, oceanography, subsea and marine biology community, learn anything from the electronics industry? Can we search products, then document circuit and electrical design for products in our industry for little or no cost? To know more, join our webinar, where Bhavin will explain why Anekonnect is useful for all stakeholders in the community, including manufacturers, distributors & consumers. We explain how our app simplifies search, design and document electrical circuits.
