The American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting is the most influential event in the world dedicated to the advancement of Earth and space sciences. For more than one hundred years, AGU has been opening science -- opening pathways to discovery, opening greater awareness to address climate change, opening greater collaborations to lead to solutions, and opening the fields and professions of science to a whole new age of justice equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.  This year, over 25,000 attendees from 100+ countries will convene in San Francisco to explore "Wide. Open. Science." during the week of December 11-15, 2023.

Once again, we extend a special invitation to join Margaret Leinen, Director of Scripps Institution of Oceanography and UC San Diego Vice Chancellor for Marine Sciences, for the annual Scripps Alumni & Friends Reception to celebrate the impactful work you are doing, research presented at AGU, and the many exciting initiatives underway at Scripps.
