On May 12-13, UC San Diego honors its founding year with 1,960 minutes (32 hours) of caring, sharing and giving. During that time, alumni, faculty, staff, students and community members will come together as they are invited to choose a cause, tell their stories and make a gift to directly support a better future for all.

What does a u.care Ambassador do?
u.care Ambassadors leverage their personal and professional networks to help raise as much support for these fundraising goals as possible:
- Give One: Support u.care with a video or gift of care on May 12-13
- Get Five: Spread the word about UC San Diego's Day of Caring! Call, email, and text friends, family and colleagues to get five people to join you by making a u.care video or a gift of support!
- Go Social: Share on social media! Use the #UCSDcares hashtag throughout your social media networks to spread the Triton care, compassion, courage and support.
