In the surfing industry, increasingly companies, nonprofits, pro surfers, NGOs, academics, politicians and coastal communities are leading the way towards radically enhanced innovation, sustainability and conservation. These interests are particularly active (and effective) in California and Portugal.
In collaboration with The Surfrider Foundation, Arctic Foam, the City of San Diego, and the Portuguese Consulate in San Francisco, TMA BlueTech will host a day-long event that brings many of these players together to feature how they are leading the way towards innovation, sustainability and conservation in California and Portugal’s surf industry.
In addition, this will be the kick-off event to Surfrider’s Global Wave Conference (GWC) in Peniche, Portugal, from October 2-4.
