At this event, we will learn about the various queer orgs on campus, discuss a brief history of the LGBTRC, and hear from “out” UCSD speakers. Topics to be discussed include the importance of having an RC, its evolution, initiatives implemented, hopes for the future, what it means to be out in academia, and how the climate has changed over the years. Guest Speakers include: Drs. Shaun Travers, Ashley Juavinett, and Yi-Zhuang You. The intended audience for this event is queer-identifying members of the broader UCSD community. If you do not identify as queer, you are welcome to attend, but please be respectful.

This event is part of the LGBTRC's Out & Proud Series.
