About NOAA: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is an agency that enriches life through science. Our reach goes from the sun's surface to the depths of the ocean floor as we work to keep the public informed of the changing environment around them. Our mission is to understand and predict changes in climate, weather, oceans, and coasts, to share that knowledge and information with others, and to conserve and manage coastal and marine ecosystems and resources. We have over 162 different job occupations in the area of STEM and mission support: finance, accounting, human resources/personnel management, fishery, meteorology, weather, engineering, physical science, consumer safety, and many others.

About the Workshop: Navigating on USAJobs can be challenging and our Latinos@NOAA Employee Resource is hosting a free, interactive workshop where we will walk through different scenarios to help you have a better understanding of the application process, learn the difference between a federal resume vs a private sector resume, and you will also be able to also ask questions to our staff and suit of experts.  Regardless of where you are in your academic or professional career, there is always more to learn to successfully navigate applying for NOAA opportunities.  If you have questions, email: info.latinos@noaa.gov.
