Saltwater Inc. was founded in 1988 as one of the first companies certified to provide fishery observers when U.S. fishery observer programs were first established. Saltwater Inc. is currently hiring fisheries observers for the Alaska Groundfish Program. Alaska groundfish observers gather data onboard commercial fishing vessels and processing plants, working out of ports along the Gulf of Alaska and the Bering Sea. Training will start 5/13 and will be conducted by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). Saltwater Inc. is specifically interested in hiring undergraduate degrees in Marine Biology.
