Triton is the world’s only wind and solar powered, intelligent autonomous vehicle that both sails and dives for unique data collection and intelligence gathering, while being powered solely by wind and solar energy. This presentation will introduce and describe the Gen 3 Triton, and how it can be configured for most ocean data collection scenarios. We will also highlight rigorous performance test results carried out last month over multiple days from Oceanside to Catalina Island, and back down to San Diego, including passing vehicle command and control to multiple locations around the planet.
