Title: SubC Imaging’s Rayfin Camera Driven Ocean Observatory

Speaker: Chad Collett, Founder & CEO, SubC Imaging

SubC Imaging’s mission is to continuously create the most technologically advanced and intelligent underwater cameras and imaging systems for marine science applications.

Modular designs and a hands-on approach of working directly with clients allows SubC to provide purpose-built solutions that help researchers around the world to gain new insights into ocean ecosystems and marine life. Founded in 2010, in Clarenville, Newfoundland, SubC has grown a global list of more than 170 clients in over 30 countries.

Chad Collett, Founder & CEO, SubC Imaging, will be conducting a live demo of an observatory system using a SubC Rayfin camera to illustrate its latest features while providing real life examples of applications where SubC’s clients have used the Rayfin for their research.

Examples such as the University of Washington and the Marine Institute of Newfoundland and Labrador who each use Rayfin camera systems in their ocean observatories to run internal custom scripts that execute API commands to turn on LEDs, lasers and other sensors, as well as collect timelapse images and videos over a timespan of years.

Following the demonstration, Chad will be participating in a Q&A session.
