Greg Johnson, President of RBR, will deliver an update on engineering and product developments at RBR with references to novel applications and current projects.
He will focus on RBR's approach to solving challenges in ocean measurement and data acquisition. Questions and discussion from the Scripps oceanography and engineering community will be encouraged.
Depending on interest from the Scripps community, topics for discussion can also include:
- instrument power management, including battery selection
- data file creation and transfer, including RBR-supported tools for Matlab and data hosting services
- measurement theory and sensor calibration
