A free 45-minute webinar, part of HOBO’s Thought Leader Webinar series, presented by Andrea Rivera-Sosa, Ph.D., of the Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL).

Learn how CORAL spearheaded innovative scientific research into the role that evolution plays in rescuing reefs from the effects of climate change. Topics include:

•    Using HOBO TidbiT data loggers to track temperature variability in the coral reefs of Bay Islands, Honduras
•    The advantages of using a variety of in situ data loggers
•    Identifying reefs in locations with high levels of habitat diversity
•    Uncovering the thermal characteristics that help reefs adapt to the impact of global climate change

Andrea Rivera-Sosa received her doctoral degree in marine science at CINVESTAV, México, and is CORAL’s Project & Outreach Manager for its Global Conservation Science program.
