The Blue Tech sector and Blue Economy are growing rapidly along with the need for innovations that address climate change and support the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals. In this webinar, you will learn how UC San Diego and partners are leading innovative research and innovation programs to tackle ocean challenges with advanced science and engineering solutions.

The 2021 launch of startBlue accelerator led by Scripps Institution of Oceanography and Rady School of Management supports the formation of new ocean startups integrated into science, industry, investment, and government networks. Innovative, blue solutions and inclusive programs are priorities for UC San Diego, the U.S. Department of Energy, and other federal and local innovation programs that will be discussed.
