Harald will be presenting a technology paper on the development of "Adaptive Tx pulse algorithms for wave measurements from a 4 beam Janus configured Doppler Current Profiler”.  Background and data will be provided on the use of a SeaGuardII DCP acoustic profiler for wave measurements using a new algorithm that outputs adaptive Tx pulses using two different broadband modes and one narrowband mode to resolve waves in the range of 0.2 to > 20m without sacrificing accuracy. Aanderaa officially launches the SeaGuard II Doppler Acoustic current profiler with directional waves in March of this year at Ocean Business in the UK.

Mr Harald Tholo of Aanderaa Instruments completed course of study at the University of Bergen in Mathematics/Physics/Hydro acoustics and digital signal processing. Has 25 years with the Norwegian Navy with a professional background in electronics, communications, computer systems and underwater sensor development joined Aanderaa in 2011 as a R&D Acoustic Engineer
