Alumni Statement
Alumni of Scripps Institution of Oceanography represent nearly 4,000 academics, scientists, communicators, policymakers, experts, and entrepreneurs that leverage their diverse backgrounds to advance innovative solutions. Their accomplishments reach far and wide, from education and environment to industry and innovation, and their impact spans the expanse of our planet, from deep oceans to deep space.
Many from our active alumni community stay connected each year, returning to meet and mentor students, speak at special events, pursue professional goals and continued education, and develop partnerships with faculty and researchers here at UC San Diego. We thank them for returning to share their time and talents!
