HAHN, LILY

Postdoctoral Scholar

I am a NOAA Climate and Global Change Postdoctoral Fellow at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography working with Nick Lutsko and Ian Eisenman. I study coupled atmosphere-ocean-ice interactions to understand mechanisms of high-latitude climate change and its connections to lower latitudes. Before coming to Scripps, I completed my PhD in Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington with David Battisti and Kyle Armour. I received my B.S. in Geology & Geophysics at Yale, and studied extratropical cloud-climate interactions and links to internal variability as a guest student at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and the University of Oslo.
