Bio

My deep-rooted concern about the future of our climate and how that will affect communities and my love and fascination for the ocean has led me to pursue a PhD in Physical Oceanography. I seek to contribute to the global understanding of the ocean's role in the climate system by investigating the capacity of the deep ocean to continue to act as a long-term carbon sink. My focus is on variability in high-latitude ocean biogeochemistry.
