Graduate Student

Morgane Dackiw is a graduate student in Biological Oceanography at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, where she conducts research in the Scripps Machine Listening Lab. Her primary research interest is in understanding how cetacean populations adapt to environmental changes, both natural and anthropogenic. Morgane’s current work focuses on the automatic detection and differentiation of cetacean species through passive acoustic monitoring, aiming to improve species distribution modeling.
