I am a coastal scientist focused on understanding dynamics and management of coastal resources in California. My goal is to connect stakeholders, provide scientific information, and foster collaborations to promote creative solutions to coastal issues. I help manage the California Sea Grant State Fellowship Program (which I am an alumnus of), providing additional education and hands on training to the next generation of marine and coastal leaders. Additionally, I help coordinate our research funding and various other aspects of the program. Prior to joining California Sea Grant, I worked with the University of Southern California (USC) Sea Grant Program, leading the Regional AdaptLA program in the LA area. I am an avid surfer and ocean enthusiast, driven to build collaborative efforts to promote the use and stewardship of coastal resources.
