Scripps alumna Jessica Meir Climbs Aboard a Soyuz trainer at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia, during final crew qualification exams on Aug. 30. Meir will launch with Expedition 61 crewmember Oleg Skripochka of Roscosmos and spaceflight participant Hazzaa Ali Almansoori of the United Arab Emirates on Sept. 25 on the Soyuz MS-15 spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan for a mission on the International Space Station. Viewers can watch the launch on NASA TV with programming beginning at 6 a.m. PDT.  The launch itself is scheduled for 6:57 a.m. Photo: NASA/Beth Weissinger
