The San Diego Underwater Photographic Society (SDUPS) will host a Film Festival at Oceans '13.
The Oceans '13 Film Festival is part of the OCEANS ’13 MTS/IEEE Conference that will return to San Diego in 2013. The Oceans '13 conference is the world’s most diverse and prestigious oceans conference and exposition with more than 250 companies and more than 5,000 attendees expected to attend.
The “Kick-Off” event for the conference will be the OCEANS '13 Film Festival that will be produced by SDUPS. The Film Festival, to be held on Sunday, Sept. 22, and Monday, Sept. 23, (two different sets of films) will be held at the Town and Country Convention Center in Mission Valley in San Diego. This is an opportunity for filmmakers to have their work seen by a truly prestigious and international audience that is made up of some of the most influential people involved in all aspects of ocean science, exploration, and commercialization.
