An acclaimed talk by Richard Somerville, an emeritus professor at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego, on the state of climate change science and policy is now available from Scripps. The talk, given during 2016's Earth Month, culminates the "Climate Change at the Crossroads" series hosted by the UC San Diego Library. Somerville, a delegate at the COP21 climate negotiations in Paris, finds reason for optimism as society's response to climate change evolves and responsive actions spread across a growing range of sectors.
