A study released today describes a new way for scientists to watch small-scale marine biological processes with an underwater microscopic imaging system created by researchers at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California San Diego. Media outlets such as the New York Times, The Conversation, Australian Geographic, and Popular Science among others reported on the striking visuals created by the imaging system with its cameras trained on coral polyps.
