Critical positions have access to or work with cars, cash, children, keys, and computers, among other things. Therefore, background checks are required for all staff and non-academic student positions (i.e. STDT job titles, such as STDT 2, STDT 3, STDT 4 and STDT RESERCHER). New hires/transfers must complete and clear the background check before they are allowed to start working. In addition, all student and staff volunteers and UG course credit students are also required to cleared a background check prior to starting volunteering or starting participating in course activities.
